The only three hour daily morning show on local radio is the Dave Congalton show on KVEC 920am. But possibly not for long. One of the country's largest chains has purchased it, effective January 1, 2001. The company, Clear Channel, also owns Rush Limbo. Since Rush is not available on a station that reaches the entire county, guess what may happen on the dawn of the New Year. Yup, Rush could be ranting from KVEC, blanketing the entire county. Let's let the new owner's decision man, Mr. Don Shore, know that we would like to keep hearing the only local daily talk show for the county. "People you know, issues you care about."
